GREENSBORO, NC – After the conclusion of the regular season on Sunday afternoon, the USA South Athletic Conference announced their pairings for the upcoming women’s basketball tournament.
Following their win against the Pacers of William Peace on Sunday, the Pride women have earned the #1 seed from the northern division in the upcoming USA South Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Tournament.
The tournament will get underway on Thursday afternoon on the campus of Maryville College when the Pride take on the Monarchs of Methodist University who finished the regular season as the northern division’s #4 seed.
The Pride and the Monarchs have met twice on the season with Greensboro coming out on top both times. The Pride defeated the Monarchs ,64-46, in Hanes Gymnasium on January 24th before coming away with a 80-73 victory in Fayetteville just seven days ago.
