Proehlific Park Football Seminar

Proehlific Park Football Seminar

Dates of Skill’s Seminar (All Wednesdays)

March 4, 11, 18, 25

April 1, 15, 22, 29

May 6, 13

Time: 7 – 9 p.m.

Location: Proehlific Park

Workout clothing will be available and will be numbered for identification.

This will be 20 hours of Skill, Speed and Quickness training for Football.

As a result of a rule change for football for 2015 by the North Carolina High School Athletic Association, the seminar will give football players an opportunity to improve their position specific skills. The NCHSAA Rule Change allows 10 days of Spring Football Practice. Once the regular season football season ends, there is to be no football specific training at the high school, until the 10 days of spring football which is only 6 days in Guilford County according to Guilford County’s Athletic Director’s interpretation of the new rule based on exam schedule.

The Seminar is open to high school football players in present 8-11 grades. The positions will be grouped as follows:

Offensive Linemen – QB/Running Backs – Receivers

Defensive Linemen – Linebackers (Inside and Outside) – Defensive Backs

Each player will work both sides of the ball and the instructors will be high school coaches, college coaches and college players.

  1. Guilford county will have 10 days of spring workouts after school just like everybody else. You just start your 10 days prior to the start if exams. This rule is continually being interpreted wrong. People need to quit posting things they have no clue about it. If GC AD thinks this is right then he is mistaken as well. Every school system will have 10 days prior to the start of their final exams.

  2. Well let’s think about that. Don’t all other sports have to be complete before football spring training can begin? Seems like a tight squeeze on the logistics of that and the exam schedule. Maybe the GC AD is correct after all? All in all the PSP program is still a great skill camp for our Football players!

  3. Are there cost associated with this? As usual, there is no information on the Proehlific website. Emailing or calling Proehlific about anything does no good.

  4. Call that number listed above and be sure to ask for Rodney Beasley….He should be able to help…
