Martin placed second and set the Guilford record with a leap of 6.81 meters in the long jump at Sunday’s 2015 ODAC Championships at the Prince George’s SportsPlex. Martin earned third-team all-league recognition with a third-place time in the 60-meter dash. His mark of 7.05 seconds was Guilford’s fastest this year. Martin also scored in the 200 with a fourth-place time of 23.11 seconds, the sixth-fastest time in school history.

Guilford’s 1,600-meter relay team of Johnny Sumner, Amaris Clay, Brandon Rothfuss and Trent Evans (Winston-Salem, N.C./R.J. Reynolds) placed second, which garnered second-team all-league recognition. The team finished second to Virginia Wesleyan College in three minutes, 29.04 seconds, which is also the second-fastest time in school history.
