*****So you’re going to have C.J. Freeman at South Carolina and T.J. Logan at North Carolina in the Fall of 2016……*****

from the South Carolina Gamecocks athletics web site:

RB CJ Freeman (5-11, 190) of Greensboro, NC had a recent conversation with former South Carolina star running back Marcus Lattimore, and that really got him thinking seriously about joining the Gamecocks.

Freeman took the next step on Saturday during the Gamecocks’ junior day by committing to USC in the hopes of becoming that next great USC running back.

“I like everything really,” Freeman said. “The school, the coaches, the team and how there on the come up. I like the spread offense and the fact that they said they would use me in different ways, too. Either wildcat or the return game.”

Pretty sure that C. in the C.J. stands for Caleb and I can say this much, C.J. Freeman is one of the most humble and well-founded/rounded young men that I have ever met in Guilford County…Very fortunate young man, coming from a family with true values…..
