Baseball (12-14, 4-2 CAA)
Elon Baseball Live Radio Show, Monday, March 30, at 7 p.m., Mellow Mushroom
Elon vs. North Carolina, Tuesday, March 31, at 6:30 p.m., Latham Park
Elon vs. Northeastern, Friday – Sunday, April 3 – 5, at 6:30 / 4 / 12:30 p.m., Latham Park

• Elon starting pitcher Matt Harris struck out a career-best 11 hitters, while matching a career-long outing with 7.0 innings pitched, as the Phoenix defeated William & Mary in the opener of a CAA series on Saturday afternoon.
• Monday marks the return of Elon Baseball Live, an hour-long radio show with Phoenix coach Mike Kennedy. The show will be broadcast live from Mellow Mushroom on Huffman Mill Road in Burlington from 7 – 8 p.m. on WSML 104.5 FM / 1200 AM.
• The Phoenix will host four games this week, starting with a 6:30 p.m. bout with the Tar Heels of North Carolina on Tuesday night. Elon will then welcome in the Huskies of Northeastern for three games this weekend. Elon and UNC will be playing for the 43rd time, while the Phoenix and Huskies will meet for the first time ever.

Men’s Golf
Elon at Seahawk Intercollegiate, Monday, March 30, Wilmington, N.C.

• Elon began play at the Seahawks Intercollegiate on Sunday, shooting a 593 (299-294) to sit sixth out of 14 teams.
• The Phoenix was led by Charlie May who ended the day in a tie for third with an even-par 144. He is just two strokes back of the leaders with one round to play.
• Troy Beaver is also in the top-20 as the junior is tied for 19th with a 148 (74-74) following 36 holes.

Men’s Tennis (7-10)
Elon vs. Davidson, Thursday, April 2, 3:30 p.m., Davidson, N.C.
Elon vs. Charlotte, Saturday, April 4, 1 p.m., Jimmy Powell Tennis Center

• The Phoenix split a pair of matches in South Carolina this past week, picking up a 4-3 victory against College of Charleston on March 24 and dropping a 4-3 contest to USC Upstate on March 25.
• Jordan Kaufman was perfect in both matches, improving his singles record to 9-7. The senior clinched Elon’s win against the Cougars with a three-set, 7-6 (7-5), 5-7, 6-3 triumph over Brice Allanic. Kaufman continued his solid play against USC Upstate, winning in three sets against the Spartans’ Viktor Selander.
• Freshman Neal Port added a win at No. 6 singles against USC Upstate, a 5-7, 7-6, 7-6 victory that improved his singles record to 3-1.
• Elon has two matches scheduled for this week. The Phoenix first travels to Davidson to take on the Wildcats on April 2 and hosts Charlotte on Senior Day on April 4 at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.

Softball (22-9, 4-2 CAA)
Elon at Virginia Tech, Wednesday, April 1, at 5 p.m., Blacksburg, Va.
Elon vs. Towson (DH), Saturday, April 4, at 1/3 p.m., Hunt Softball Park
Elon vs. Towson, Sunday, April 5, at 1 p.m., Hunt Softball Park

• The Phoenix continues its road trip on Wednesday with a contest at Virginia Tech. Elon concludes the week with its first Colonial Athletic Association series at home this weekend, April 4-5.
• Elon earned its first CAA series win with a sweep at Drexel last weekend, March 28-29. The victories improved the Phoenix to a 4-2 mark in league play.
• Sophomore Carey Million was selected as the CAA Player of the Week on Tuesday, March 23. The Roebling, N.J., native batted .611 (11-for-18) in the Phoenix’s six games the previous week as Elon went 4-2. Million also became the third player on the squad to receive the league’s weekly honor along with freshmen Hannah Olson and Kiandra Mitchum.

Women’s Golf
Elon at John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate, Monday – Tuesday, March 30 – 31, Stockbridge, Ga.

• Elon is playing its final tournament before the mid-April CAA Championship this week at the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate hosted by Georgia State.
• The tournament got underway on Sunday with the Phoenix shooting a 312 to tie for ninth out of 15 teams after the first of three rounds.
• Elon was led by Sunna Vidisdottir who shot a 76 and is tied for 18th out of 83 players.

Women’s Lacrosse (7-3)
Elon at Towson, Friday, April 3, at 7 p.m., Towson, Md.
Elon at Delaware, Sunday, April 5, at 1 p.m., Newark, Del.

• Elon extended its winning streak to four straight last weekend with an 13-8 victory over Liberty at Rhodes Stadium, closing out a 4-0 home stand and improving its overall program record at home to 10-1.
• The Phoenix was led by seven points, five goals and two assists, from rookie Stephanie Asher in the win over the Flames, while Kelsey Dupere and Nicole Sinacori each contributed two scores in the game.
• Elon opens Colonial Athletic Association play this weekend with games at three-time defending league champion Towson and Delaware. The maroon and gold play its first CAA contest on Friday against the Tigers in Towson, Md.

Women’s Tennis (12-5)
Elon vs. Charlotte, Friday, April 3, at 12 p.m., Charlotte, N.C.

• Elon went 3-0 this last week in a tournament in Hilton Head, S.C., only giving up one point in all three matches combined in wins over North Central College (7-0), Savannah State (6-1) and Wisconsin-Eau Claire (7-0).
• The Phoenix has won 11 of its last 12, dating back to Feb. 14, with the help of singles performances by Kamilla Beisenova, Erica Braschi. Taylor Casey, Barbora Lazarova and Olivia Lucas. Taylor Casey and Erica Braschi lead the doubles tandems with a 9-1 record within those 12 matches.
• The team travels to Charlotte, N.C., to face-off against the 49ers of Charlotte on Friday, April 3.

Women’s Track and Field
Elon at Liberty Collegiate Invitational, Friday – Saturday, April 3 – 4, Lynchburg, Va.

• The Phoenix returns to competition this weekend, April 3 – 4, at the Liberty Collegiate Invitational in Lynchburg, Va.
• Elon competed at the prestigious Raleigh Relays last weekend, March 27 – 28, at NC State. Kimberly Johansen set a new school-record in the 800-meters at the meet with a time of 2:11.16, while Tereza Novotna set a new personal-best in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with her time of 10:27.14, extending her own school-record in the event.
• Jen Esposito was named the CAA Track Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, March 24. The Mansfield, Mass., native ran a time of 1:00.26 in the 400-meter hurdles at the Coastal Carolina Invitational to take first in the race. She also helped the Phoenix’s 4×400-meter relay team win its race with a time of 3:55.69.
