Gaines joined Robertson on the All-Big South First Team and garnered NCCSIA honors for the third consecutive season. Gaines led the Camels with 11.9 points and 8.4 rebounds per outing.

Sydnor averaged 17.5 points and 8.8 rebounds for Appalachian State en route to earning All-Sun Belt First Team honors. UNCG’s junior Lucy Mason was named second team All-SoCon after leading the Spartans with 15.3 points and 104 assists.

UNC Wilmington’s Kelva Atkins, a senior, made the All-Colonial Athletic Association First Team in each of the last two seasons. She averaged 16.7 points and 4.8 rebounds in 2014-15.

The NCCSIA All-State Second Team is comprised of Western Carolina’s Justin Taylor, Charlotte’s Lefty Webster, Gardner-Webb’s Olivia Parker, Elon’s Sam Coffer and UNCG’s Jarae Savage.

Nominees were submitted by North Carolina sports information professionals and voted on by the NCCSIA members.
