The first-team All-State team is comprised of High Point junior forward John Brown, North Carolina Central teammates senior forward Jordan Parks and senior guard Nimrod Hilliard, Western Carolina senior guard James Sinclair and Gardner-Webb junior forward Jerome Hill. Brown is a three-time first-team All-State selection.

Brown, who averaged 19.3 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, was a first-team All-Big South selection. He played an integral role in helping High Point claim its third-straight Big South regular-season title. He is one of four players in Big South history to score 1,600 points and grab 500 rebounds with at least 100 assists, 100 blocks and 100 steals in their career. Brown was a nominee for the Lou Henson Award, which recognizes the top mid-major player in Division I college basketball.

Parks, who averaged 15.6 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, was named MEAC Player of the Year by College Hoops Daily and Breitbart Sports. The forward was named to Lou Henson Award Watch List and was voted first-team NABC All-District. He was named to the MEAC All-Tournament team as well as second-team All-MEAC selection.

Hilliard, who averaged 12.0 points and 6.3 assists per game, was voted first-team All-MEAC after leading the league with 196 assists. He ranked 10th in NCAA Division I with 6.3 assists per game. Hilliard was named second-team NABC All-District.

Sinclair ranked second in the Southern Conference and 23rd in the nation in scoring. He scored a career-high 40 points against VMI as well as scoring in double-figures in 29 of his 31 games played.

Hill, who averaged 18.9 points and 10.1 rebounds per game, earned first-team All-Big South honors. He was a three-time Big South Choice Hotels Player of the Week as well as the Big South’s first-ever Oscar Robertson National Player of the Week honoree. He was the only player in the Big South to average a double-double and he led the Big South with 17 double-doubles.

The NCCSIA All-State second-team is comprised of Elon freshman guard Elijah Bryant, Charlotte freshman guard Torin Dorn, Appalachian State junior guard Frank Eaves, Gardner-Webb sophomore center Tyrell Nelson and High Point senior guard Devante Wallace.
