Baseball (16-18, 7-5 CAA)
Elon Baseball Live, Monday, April 13, at 7 p.m., Mellow Mushroom
Elon vs. Campbell, Tuesday, April 14, at 6:30 p.m., Latham Park
Elon at Towson, Friday-Sunday, April 17 – 19, at 3/2/1 p.m., Towson, Md.

• Elon went 2-2 last week, picking up a midweek victory at home over North Carolina State and handing No. 26 College of Charleston its first CAA defeat of the season over the weekend.
• In Elon’s win over CofC, Michael Elefante threw six innings and allowed just one run on four hits while striking out four.
• The second edition of Elon Baseball Live will be broadcast on Monday night from 7 – 8 p.m. from the Mellow Mushroom location on Huffman Mill Road. Head coach Mike Kennedy will recap last week’s action and preview this week’s contests during the hour-long program that will air live on WSML 104.5 FM and 1200 AM. Fans can also hear the show at elonphoenix.com.
• The maroon and gold will play its final midweek home game on Tuesday by hosting the Campbell Fighting Camels. It will be the second of three meetings between the two programs this year and Elon will be looking to avenge a loss it suffered in Buies Creek last month.
• The Phoenix will then close the week with its first-ever trip to Towson to take on the Tigers in a three-game CAA series. Elon is 5-1 all-time against Towson. All six previous games were played at Latham Park.

Men’s Golf
Elon at Greenbrier Intercollegiate, Monday – Tuesday, April 13 – 14, White Sulphur Springs, W.Va.

• In its final tune-up before the CAA Championship, the Phoenix men’s golf squad will play in the 13-team Greenbrier Intercollegiate hosted by Bowling Green this week.
• This tournament will feature just one other CAA school in James Madison.
• Elon’s last event, the Gary Koch Invitational, featured three of the top 50 programs in the nation. The Phoenix placed 14th in that tournament.

Men’s Tennis (9-12)
CAA Men’s Tennis Championship, April 16-19, Williamsburg. Va.

• Elon closed out the regular season with a 6-1 win against East Carolina on April 11. The Phoenix won the doubles point and captured points on five of the six singles courts to dispatch the Pirates.
• The Phoenix heads to Williamsburg, Va., to play in its first-ever Colonial Athletic Association Men’s Tennis Tournament next weekend, April 16-19. Elon is coming off a 2014 season in which it won the Southern Conference Tournament and made an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
• Stefan Fortmann closed the regular season with an 8-2 mark in his final 10 singles matches, while fellow seniors Jordan Kaufman and Brian Kowalski each finished with a 7-3 record in their final 10 matches.

Softball (25-13, 7-5 CAA)
Elon vs. North Carolina A&T (DH), Wednesday, April 15, at 4/6 p.m., Hunt Softball Park
Elon at Hofstra, Saturday – Sunday, April 18 – 19, at 2/4/12 p.m., Hempstead, N.Y.

• The Phoenix hosts the Aggies of North Carolina A&T in a midweek doubleheader on Wednesday, April 15 before traveling to Hofstra for its first-ever Colonial Athletic Association series versus the Pride the weekend of April 18 – 19.
• Elon won its CAA series last weekend against Delaware behind a extra-inning 5-4 victory in the rubber match on Sunday, April 12. Freshman Hannah Olson provided the game-winning RBI in the bottom of the ninth inning.
• Senior Chelsea White recorded her fourth save of the year over the weekend and moved into sole possession of second all-time in program history for saves in a single-season. She needs only one more save to tie Jen Lamb’s (2003-04) all-time record of five in 2004.

Women’s Golf
Elon at CAA Championship, Friday – Sunday, April 17 – 19, at Southport, N.C.

• The Elon women’s golf team will participate in its first-ever CAA Championship this weekend. The conference showcase will be played at St. James Plantation and will feature all eight-league programs.
• The Phoenix comes into the event off of a ninth-place finish at the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate. Elon has placed in the top 10 in seven of its eight events this season and has three tournaments.
• Sophomore Kelsey Badmaev has won two CAA Golfer of the Week honors this year.

Women’s Lacrosse (8-6, 1-3)
Elon vs. Hofstra, Friday, April 17, at 5 p.m., Rhodes Stadium
Elon vs. Drexel, Sunday, April 19, at 1 p.m., Rhodes Stadium

• After dropping a game at No. 24 James Madison, Elon claimed its first CAA win with an 8-7 final against William & Mary in Rhodes Stadium on Sunday.
• Stephanie Asher netted four goals and one assist for the Phoenix last week, while Sloane Kessler led the team in points with two goals and four assists. Against the Tribe, goalie Rachel Ramirez recorded a season-high 15 saves.
• The Phoenix closes out the regular season this weekend when it hosts CAA opponents Hofstra and Drexel.

Women’s Tennis (14-7)
CAA Women’s Tennis Championship, April 16-19, Williamsburg. Va.

• The Elon women’s tennis team wrapped up the regular season last week with a 1-1 mark against College of Charleston and North Carolina Central. Elon dropped a 4-3 decision to CofC on April 10 before bouncing back with a 6-1 win over NCCU on Senior Day on April 11. The Phoenix has won eight of its last 10 matches.
• Five players finished the regular season with 10+ singles wins for the Phoenix, including Erica Braschi (12), Barbora Lazarova (12), Olivia Lucas (12), Taylor Casey (11) and Kamilla Beisenova (10).
• The doubles team of Taylor Casey and Erica Braschi concluded the regular season with a 13-1 mark, going 9-1 over their last 10 matches and winning seven straight.

Women’s Track and Field
Phoenix Invitational, Saturday, April 18, Jerry and Jeanne Robertson Track and Field Complex

• For the first time since 2006, the Elon will host its first home track meet on campus in the Phoenix Invitational on Saturday, April 18.
• Last week, the maroon and gold competed at nearby North Carolina A&T in the Aggie Invitational.
• Junior Simone Jackson broke her own school-record in the 100-meters as she clocked in a time of 12.07 in the preliminary race.
• The Phoenix also claimed titles at the meet in the high jump (Megan Kirschling), discus (Bryanna Hames) and the 4×100-meter relay team of Jackson, Jennifer Pash, Bria Turner and Sydney Griffin.
• Freshman Emily Dixon was selected as the CAA Women’s Field Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, April 5. It was the third time that a member of the Phoenix has received a weekly accolade from the league during the outdoor season.
