Powerade State Games High School Softball Coaches Announced

DURHAM, North Carolina, April 22, 2015 – The Powerade State Games High School Softball Showcase will take place June 23-24 at NC State University and Middle Creek Park. The High School Softball Showcase pits the best 20 underclassmen players from eight North Carolina regions against each other to battle it out in front of college scouts for the gold, silver and bronze medals. The Showcase also features a High School Senior East vs. West series.

The coaches have been selected for each regional team and are listed below with their high school in parentheses and the head coach listed first:

The Powerade State Games of North Carolina are gearing up for an exciting year of competition in the Triangle. The 29th annual Powerade State Games begin on May 30th and conclude on June 28th, hosting competitions in Raleigh, Cary and Durham. Registration is now open for all sports. The 2015 Opening Ceremonies will be held June 19 in City Plaza in Downtown Raleigh. The Opening Ceremonies feature a commemorative gift for participating athletes, inflatables, games, music, a parade of athletes and a lighting of the cauldron to announce the official start to the 2015 Powerade State Games of North Carolina.
