  1. After tonight, who will stay and who will go?

Still in or done for the year after tonight and do we see Cole Aker for NWG tonight and do you think SEG will go with Bailey Steed, their ace or top horse, you might say….

If Eastern Guilford goes Andrew Robinson, I say they have a very good chance to win, but that’s just me talking and goes/throws for Ragsdale, is it Conner Burrow’s time????

    Just wodering and sometimes wandering….

Baseball pitching coach a few years back we talked to called his top man his horse and not his ace….

  2. Some have said in the past you don’t throw you top man in Round One, you save him for Round Two….

What if there is no Round Two???

Maybe a combination of pitchers with one kid 1-3, then another for 4-6 and a closer for the 7th….You may just have to hit the gas and go with that horse as long as you can ride him in the Round One game….

  3. Any program that does not throw their number 1 in round 1 is treading on very thin ice…..Burrows is out for Ragsdale I believe….heard he had some arm issues that took him out in conference tourney….

  4. As for throwing #1 vs another for the possibilities of a round 2 matchup, I refer you to the words of a well-known Jewish carpenter,” Do not be anxious for TOMORROW, for tomorrow will take care of itself. EACH DAY has enough trouble of its own.”

  5. Andy Connor Burrows is out for the rest of season with pending arm surgery. Kip Brandenburg starts tonight.

  6. Thanks for the info that all are sending and best of luck to Conner Burrows on that arm surgery…Kip or I have heard some call him Rip, ready to roll tonight…

Good luck to all of the teams in action this evening…Always something special and exciting about that first night of the playoffs, no matter what sport you are involved in…

  7. I think you have the NWG and Lake Norman seeds reversed; but that is a VERY good Lake Norman team that lost 2 games to Alexander Central (NATIONALLY ranked)by a total of 3 runs this season. Going to be a GREAT test for the young Lady Vikings. Good luck to all the area teams today and tomorrow.

  8. Wasn’t sure on that HPCA baseball time at Charlotte Christian, but I knew if put 6 and it was at 7 or another time, somebody would let us know…

On the 26 and 7, I have been seeing a lot of numbers over the past few days, so thanks for catching that one too…

If anyone can identify this number, 680-1010 from the past, I would say you are a mere genuis…

Good luck to all the teams tonight and be sure to pass your scores on to us, when your games are complete…

  9. Good luck to all our local teams but in the words of Sam Eagle…”BUT MAINLY THE METRO”!

I would start my #2 kid and quickly move to #1 if I did not get run support or got behind by more than one run.
