*****This has to be one of the biggest wins in recent Guilford County high school baseball history….Junior Kevin Westlake pitched 8 innings back on Wednesday and he threw six innings down at Southeast Guilford in the Championship Game of the Metro 4-A Conference Tournament last Saturday and then according to Langston Wertz Jr. on Twitter, Westlake was able to come back in and close out the game today at Ardrey Kell…Huge win for the Page Pirates after trailing 3-0 to the Ardrey Kell Knights and then Page comes back and tops the #2 seed in the NCHSAA 4-A West, 4-3….*****
(Will be looking for details on the Page offense in this comeback win.)

I’ve attended many games in Guilford County this season (Ragsdale, Northern, Northwest, East Forsyth, Southeast, Paige, Eastern, Weslyan and a few more).
Kevin Westlake from Paige is the best pitcher I have seen. If he gets some help from the offense (14 stranded in 3 games), Paige could win it all.
From what I saw, Sotheast is a better all round team. Westlake is the best pitcher in Guilford County. My unbiased observation…..
