MARTINSVILLE, VA, – After two hours of light rain and sub 65 degree weather that had fans dressed for a winter night the HiToms (2-6) would fall to the Martinsville Mustang (4-3) 3-0.

Javarais Banks (Cameron University) would start for the HiToms and allow no runs until the bottom of the third where the scoring would start. Eric Lowe (Villanova) would score the first run off a single accompanied by an error that would put the Mustangs at an early 1-0 lead.

The Hitoms would try to respondin the top of the fourth after Hunter Slater (Southern Mississippi) would single and also benefit from an error and move to second. However, Chandler Hall (Louisiana Tech) would strike out followed by a Dalton Mosbarger (Akron University) pop fly for the second and third outs.
