Dudley Panthers sign for baseball and football with Williamson, Norris, Harris and Cokely

Three Dudley Panther baseball players signed for college baseball today and one Dudley Panther baseball player signed for football….

You have Chase Williamson signing with North Carolina A&T, Randy Norris Jr. signing with Winston-Salem State, Elyjah Harris signing with Lenior-Rhyne all of those Panthers are going to college for baseball and to get a good education and Christian Cokely signed with Fayetteville State…Cokely will be playing in the East-West All-Star football game this Summer and will hit the football field with the Broncos in August…

Chuck Williamson spoke today of the days when the American Legion baseball players were glad to get those hot dogs and big boxes of Kentucky Fried Chicken that Reid Willet and Charlie Teague would make available and those days helped pave the way for these days and for these kids going on to college to get an education…

No Grasshoppers baseball today so we had time to take it in at Dudley and you can see the video from the Signing Ceremony below…

  1. Andy, I see HPA Coach Norris there at the presentation for his son. Since his boss Wilds is leaving for Dudley and taking his AD with him, who will be the new Principal at HPA as well as AD. The word on the street and places is John Oakley as the new AD. Is that true?
