Carolina Panthers’ Army vs Marines 7-on-7 Passing Game this coming Monday June 15

CAROLINA PANTHERS “RECRUIT” NEW PLAYERS FOR SUMMER

As the Carolina Panthers get ready for the 2015 NFL season, the Panthers coaches have “recruited” a new group of players for a special game on Monday, June 15. And while these players may not be known as heroes on the playing field, they are certainly heroes on the battlefield, as all serve as active duty troops from Fort Bragg and Camp Lejeune.

WHO: Carolina Panthers and the USO of North Carolina

WHAT: The inaugural Army vs Marines 7-on-7 Passing Game (Flag). The Panthers and the USO of North
Carolina have chosen 12 active-duty members of the Marines and Army serving in North Carolina to
travel to Bank of America stadium for once-in-a-lifetime Panthers experience. The Soldiers and
Marines will be coached by some of the best NFL coaches, practice and play in a 7-on-7 flag football
game at the Panthers practice facility.

Like all football teams, each 12-person team is comprised of a designated football captain and players
with at least high school varsity football playing experience. Teams have been practicing together and
developing plays, and the Panthers coaching staff will help with play development and game-time
coaching.

The tournament will be a 30-minute game with two 15-minute halves and a four-minute halftime.
