ASHEBORO — Both Randolph County Post 45 and Stanly County Post 76 took advantage of each other’s errors Wednesday night at McCrary Park to help jumpstart their offenses when they struggled to score a run.

A total of seven errors were committed by both teams with Post 76 committing more to help Randolph County pull out a 13-7 win.

Randleman’s Caleb Webster and Evan Walls started for Randolph County and their impact was felt at the plate. Webster started at shortstop and went 3-for-5 with two RBIs and two runs scored, while Walls started in center field and finished going 2-for-3 with a RBI and three runs scored.

The Davidson County Warriors pounded out 13 hits off five pitchers and turned a close game into a 14-5 demolition of Mooresville during their Area III American Legion baseball game Tuesday night at Holt-Moffitt Field.

Christian Dix(NWG) was 2-for-4 with three RBIs and Zack Shoemaker(NWG) was 2-for-2 with two doubles and three RBIs. an RBI.
