More on the American Legion from Mike Duprez at the Lexington, N.C. Dispatch/www.the-dispatch.com:

Mocksville came into Thursday’s Area III American Legion baseball game at Holt-Moffitt Field having won just two games all season and seemingly ripe for the picking for the Davidson County Warriors.

But the Warriors’ defense faltered midway through the game, the bullpen had a hiccup in the eighth inning and the hitting didn’t come around enough in the end in an ugly 9-6 loss.
*****Lexington now at (7-7) on the season and they committed 7 errors in this game.*****
