Niles, OH – The Williamsport Crosscutters continued their historic start to the 2015 season on Monday night in Mahoning Valley while waiting out Mother Nature. The Cutters won their tenth consecutive game to start the 2015 season with a 5-2 win against the Scrappers. The Crosscutters tie a franchise record for the second longest winning streak in franchise history.

Josh Tobias hit his first career home run in the second inning on what would be the first pitch that he would see. Tobias followed that up with an RBI double in the fifth inning to give the Cutters a 2-0 lead. Mitch Gueller picked up his second win in his second start of the season for Williamsport. The Crosscutters would get six innings out of Gueller before making a call to the bullpen. Gueller allowed five hits while surrendering two earned runs and striking out five batters.
