  1. That’s a good one, we need to add in Archie…Must have gotten blinded by Peyton and Eli…

Let’s see more on these QB’s…

  2. I remember now why I couldn’t see Archie back then when he was with the New Orleans Saints, he had a bag over his head…

  3. Have added the new quarterbacks to the list and we it updated…

Just put in Vince Evans(Smith HS) today and also put a new one that I thought of, Neil Lomax(St. Louis Cardinals) on the list…

Not many black/African-American quarterbacks back in those days, with Doug Williams(Tampa Bay), Joe Gilliam(Pittsburgh), James Harris(Rams) and Vince Evans(Chicago) on the list and I do think Vince Evans spent later time with the Oakland/LA Raiders….

  4. TERRY HANRATTY PITTSBURG. HE STARTED AHEAD OF BRADSHAW FOR A WHILE. PLAYED COLLEGE AT NOTRE DAME

  5. Did another update and let’s keep these QB’s coming in here…

Heard this being discussed as a topic on a sports talk show today and it is an interesting subject, when you look back at the 1970’s QB’s and the 70’s NFL in general….

  6. Andy,

HOW COULD WE HAVE MISSED GEROGE BLANDA AND DARRELL LAMONICA. THEY BOTH PLAYED FOR THE RAIDERS. I THINK THEY PLAYED IN FIRST SUPER BOWL. BLANDA ALSO KICKED EXTRA POINTS AND FIELD GOALS, AND PLAYED TILL HE WAS 48

  7. I had always thought of George as more of a kicker, but you are right, he was a good quarterback too…

Danny White was also a punter for the Cowboys…

Good calls and are still open to add more QB’s….
