Elon Announces Remainder of 2015 Football Game Times

ELON, N.C. – Elon University Athletics today revealed the previously unannounced game times for four of its home football games along with its road contests at Gardner-Webb, Richmond and Maine.

The Phoenix’s home opener against North Carolina A&T on Sept., 19 will begin at 6 p.m. Elon will recognize its five-member Sports Hall of Fame class at halftime of that contest.

On Sept. 26, Elon will play host to Towson on Family Weekend. Game time has been set for 3 p.m., as has the Homecoming date with James Madison on Oct. 17.

The only other unannounced home time was for the season finale against Delaware on Nov. 21. The game with the Blue Hens has now been set for a 12 p.m. start.

Elon’s second game of the year will be played at Gardner-Webb on Sept. 12. That contest will start at 6 p.m. The maroon and gold will head to Richmond for a 3:30 p.m. tilt on Oct. 10. On Nov. 14, the Phoenix visits Maine in a game that will kick at 12:30 p.m. The bout at Maine will be televised on Fox College Sports.

Game times for contests at Wake Forest (Sept. 3 at 7 p.m. on ESPN3), at New Hampshire (Oct. 3 at 3:30 p.m. on American Sports Network), at Stony Brook (Oct. 31 at 12 p.m. on American Sports Network) and at home against William & Mary (Nov. 7 at 12 p.m. on Comcast SportsNet) had been announced previously.

Fans can still purchase either full season tickets or have the option to buy a mini-pack that includes tickets to three games. These tickets may be purchased online HERE or by calling the Elon Athletic Ticket Office at 336-278-6750.
