Inside from Grady Lawson on Eastern Randolph Post 81 win over Post 87 High Point…
WP:Tommy Michaels…Excellent season from Michaels, Carmine Pagano, and Bailey Steed from Southeast Guilford…All three SEG guys playing well and playing with “no pressure” down at ER…Steed with a strong bat every night and Pagano such a steadying influence at SS and Michaels goes 5 innings to get the win tonight/Wednesday..There are three Southern Alamance players on this ER team and they have made a difference…

Hunter Curtis, Chayce Aldridge and Brandon King from SA came ready to play for Grady Lawson when they hit the Post 81 field this year…Curtis has been a huge plus for Grady and ER…Hitting and pitching were the way ER went about winning tonight’s game….Michaels did his job on the hill and Easton Jones, from Eastern Randolph had 5 RBI….Jones had 5 RBI in his last game too and along with fellow ER Wildcat, catcher DJ Laxton, Grady Lawson feels good about his chances with this home-grown talent and the kids that come on board from Guilford and Alamance counties…Hunter Curtis with 6 strikeouts in relief of Tommy Michaels, who had two K’s tonight…

Jake Moebius and Evan Edwards with 4 hits each for Post 87 and Chayce Aldridge with 4 hits for RR Post 81….

Chase Fuquay, from Chatham County, has been another glue-like player that has helped keep this team together in 2015…Just like Pagano, Fuquay is a player Lawson is glad he was able to find….

Hitting and pitching got it done for ER tonight and Post 91 will be looking for the same thing when they go for the sweep of the five-game series at home, at Grady Lawson Field on Wednesday….

Don’t put anything past Grady Lawson and his Post 81 Eastern Randolph squad, Grady likes the way this team is working and playing and he likes ER’s chances against Post 87/the HiToms tomorrow night at Grady Lawson Field in Ramseur…..ER is 3-1 vs. Post 87 this season….

Offenses dominate as Eastern Randolph Post 81 outscores Hitoms Post 87 13-9
