West assistant coach is entering his 12th season at Dudley High where he has compiled a career record of 132-28 in 11 seasons…his teams have won 5 conferences titles, made 11 state playoff appearances, and won state championships in 2007, 2008, and 2013…was named the 2008 NCHSAA State Coach of the Year and has been named Conference Coach of the Year 5 times…previously coached at Page High…served as an assistant coach for the 2008 Shrine Bowl team…born in Abbeville, SC…1986 graduate of Calhoun Falls High (SC) where he played football and basketball…1988 graduate of Chowan College and a 1992 graduate of NC A&T State University…earned his Masters Degree from NC A&T State University in 2015…says “It is with great honor and pride that I have been selected to coach in this all-star game. I look forward to working with this great group of coaches and players.”

West assistant coach is entering his 10th season at Page High where his teams have gone 74-37 in 9 seasons…he has compiled a career record of 108-60 in 14 seasons and his teams have won 5 conference titles and made 13 state playoff appearances, and his 2011 Page team won the 4AA state championship…previously served as head coach at Trinity High, leading Trinity to the first playoff win in school history…born in High Point, NC…1988 graduate of Trinity High where he played basketball and was named All-Conference and All-County in football and baseball…attended Mars Hill College…1992 graduate of UNC Greensboro…earned Masters of Education from UNCG in 1994.

West assistant coach is entering her 16th season at Page High where she has compiled a career record of 265-130 in 15 seasons and her teams have won 1 conference regular season title, 2 conference tournament titles, and made 14 state playoff appearances, including finishing as runners up in the 2013 state championship…named 2012 Conference Coach of the Year…named NCBCA District 7 Coach of the Year and News and Record Coach of the Year in 2013…also coaches women’s golf where she has been named Conference Coach of the Year 5 times…born in Mentor, OH…1989 graduate of Southwest Guilford High where she competed in volleyball, was named All-Conference in track, and was named All-Conference and All-Area in basketball…1993 graduate of St. Andrews College, in Laurinburg, NC, where she was a 4 year starter on the basketball team and was named All-Conference…says “ I would like to thank Rusty Lee for giving me the opportunity to be the head coach of a great program and providing invaluable knowledge and support. I would like to thank my assistant coaches over the past 15 years for your hard work and dedication to basketball. I would like to thank all the ladies who I have had the privilege of coaching, as they were always willing to put in the effort and to go the extra mile to make the team competitive both on the court and in the classroom. I would like to thank the Page alumni and the Page community for their support and encouragement through the years. Finally, I want to thank my Mom and Dad for instilling the passion for sports at an early age. My Dad passed away late last summer, but the passion for basketball he instilled in me will continue forever, and the life lessons he taught were instrumental in shaping the person I am today. Thank you to my sister Pam, my brother James, and my twin sister Loretta for supporting my passion and the Page Women’s basketball program.”
