Redwolves Home Run Their Way to Victory – HiToms Fall 10-7

FINCH FIELD, NC, July 20 – With a combined six home runs between the Florence Redwolves (23-20) and High Point – Thomasville HiToms (21-22). A final score of 10-7 and win was handed to the Redwolves.

An early start for the HiToms was not enough for the impressive comeback of the Redwolves after a HiToms fourth inning lead of 6-1 was demolished by a six run top of the fifth for the Redwolves.

A grand slam in the top of the fifth from Nick Nunziato (Belmont Abbey) was the play of the night. The four runs pushed the Redwolves past the HiToms for their first lead of the night, which was never relinquished.

The HiToms are back in action tomorrow on the road versus Asheville at 7pm. Then on Wednesday for Shuler Meats Dollar night the HiToms are back at home to face off against the Wilmington Sharks for the first time of the season.
