This is going to be an interesting year for the UNC football team. There is no question that they are absolutely loaded on offense this season.

These offensive weapons include:
Marquise Williams (QB)-Sr. Mallard Creek High School
TJ Logan (RB)-Jr. Northern Guilford High School
Elijah Hood (RB)-So. Charlotte Catholic High School
Quinshad Davis (WR)-Sr.
Ryan Switzer (WR)-Jr.
Landon Turner (OT)-Sr.

The question is: “Can the defense keep up with the offense”? The Tar Heels had a big signing by bringing in coach Gene Chizik to coach the defense. The UNC defense was one of the worst in the ACC last season. It is going to be interesting to see how fast that coach Chizik can turn the UNC defense around. The Heels have a highly recruited freshman coming in to play on the defensive line. Hopefully, he will help. The player is Jalen Dalton from West Forsyth. The Heels have a decent schedule this year. They play some teams that are as talented as they are, but they play some teams that are absolutely loaded as well.

Schedule
September 3 @ South Carolina
September 12 vs. North Carolina A&T
September 19 vs. Illinois
September 26 vs. Delaware
October 3 @ Georgia Tech
October 17 vs. Wake Forest
October 24 vs. Virginia
October 29 @ Pittsburgh
November 7 vs. Duke
November 14 vs. Miami (FL)
November 21 @ Virginia Tech
November 28 @ NC State
