GREENSBORO, NC – The USA South Athletic Conference released their annual Women’s Soccer Preseason Coaches’ Poll on Wednesday afternoon. The Pride enters the 2015 season under first year head coach Gus Mota. Mota’s team was picked to finish in seventh place after receiving 77 total points.

“I am really excited to get my first season at Greensboro College underway,” Mota remarked about the poll. “With the group of returners that we have along with our newcomers, we will look to improve on last season. The poll was fair based on last season’s results but we are going to work hard to exceed the expectations the conference coaches have placed on us.”

Greensboro finished the 2014 season with an overall mark of 9-8-1 while going 7-4-1 in conference play. The Pride will welcome back 13 members from last year’s team including Lauren Greeson and Melaine Raton. Greensboro will also welcome eight newcomers.
