Adding in more links, adding in more numbers…

Looking back at some of the numbers from Friday night and what may be the most impressive stat line would go to Miles Faison, from Page High School…Faison wears jersey #2, but he scored THREE first half touchdowns for the Page Pirates on Friday night…He had an interception return for a TD, and caught two passes for TD’s and all of his damage was done in the first half…Page posted 46 first half points and Faison caught the two TD’s from Pirate QB Will Jones….Jones goes 9-15 for 185 yards passing he hit Faison for 52 and 42 yard scores and also connected with Diondre Overton for a touchdown..Javon Leake rushed for 196 yards and 2 TD’s for Page…Jeremy Level and Micah Gafford also with blocked punt recoveries for TD’s for Page…Faison with 3 TD’s…

How many votes for Faison for top numbers on the night????

We had much more going on last night with Dudley’s Hendon Hooker throwing for 229 yards, good for 3 TD’s and Hooker also ran for a touchdown(27 yards)…The Panthers Connell Young caught 5 of those Hooker passes coming out of the backfield good for 102 yards…
Dudley defense led by Osinor Kakhu up front with a sack and forced fumble…

The top numbers passing for the night sort of pop up outside of our area, but Joe Butts, from North Davidson threw for 320 yards last night in the ND Black Knights win over HP Central…

Very big night for Bryant Barr from Eastern Guilford High School…The WiLdcats QB with 180 yards rushing and 4 TD’s…Barr also threw for 107 yards and on his rushing totals he ran for 100 yards in the second half alone…

Southern Guilford got 269 yards passing from QB Rayshawn Knight and Knight connected with Kenyon Taylor on a 92-yard scoring pass….

Northwest Guilford’s Jake Smith hit on 22-31 passes good for 208 yards and 3 touchdowns…Cameron Cloud caught two of the Smith tosses for TD’s and Kyle Fennie ran in two scores for the Vikings…Thomas Hennigan, the Vikings big-play man, had 1 touchdown and three more called back due to penalties…..Mitch Bryant with two interceptions for Northwest Guilford on defense..

Jaren Rainey, Southwest Guilford, had a solid night for the Cowboys, with 169 yards passing, going 9-21, good for one TD and Rainey added two more scores on the ground….

Got any more names for us??? Let’s add them in….

  1. Dudley Panthers are back on the Road to Glory! Hendon Hooker was silky smooth, throwing for 200 plus yards, placing several passes on the money! The running game was unstoppable with Connell Young a.k.a AP(Adrian Peterson) leading the charge. Ezra complimented him nicely, running players over like a bulldozer. Simeon Gatling also had a couple of ears ringing, toting the rock for several yards as well. The receivers looked all so nice catching everything that came their way! Jayden Maynor a.k.a. Jay-Rock took one the distance, shaking off defenders and also did a great job coming in as QB later in the contest. Brandon Person-Boyd a.k.a The Glove, has great hands and set the tone on offense for the first TD of the night. Person-Boyd and Jayden Manor a.k.a. The Show also held it down for the Kick off and punt return special teams as well. Last but not least the amazing Defense or should I say Greensboro NC Legion of BOOM! Brion Seagraves, Simeon Gatling, OC, and Zack lead the attack. They were taking down defenders left and right with blunt force! Several hits sounded as if it was thunder with no T-storms in the forecast! Dudley is definitely on the road to Glory once again. Whether or not they end up back at the 4A state title will be solely up to them.

  2. Stewart……I hear ya “road to glory”. You better hope that road doesn’t go through Kernersville. EF looks pretty stout, I seen how their defense handled y’all over at Parkland!

  3. Maybe now between Barr(EG) and Faison from Page for top player on the night or maybe even Hooker(Dudley)….

  4. No way that road for Dudley runs through K-Vegas. Dudley is 4A and East is 4AA. On another note that NWG East Forsyth game might be very interesting.

  5. I’m a Dudley guy through and through, but I would not over look Hillside. That will be a great game. They will give us trouble.

  6. Bryant Barr had a huge night leading EG to a big win. Coming in as 20+ underdogs. EG didn’t return many starters from a year ago but Coach Robinson has the guys playing together as a team.

  7. Dudley has played Ragsdale and Hillside before. We didn’t overlook them in the past and won’t in the future. Coach won’t let them. Coach said this team needs to work on execution and ‘finding its identify’.He described this team as big, strong and fast. That is impressive. The Dudley fans have seen good teams before and we have high hopes for this good team.

  8. The fact that you’re taking time to comment on my comment just sayin imposters warms my heart! Another win for the bad guy! By the way Northern will start the season 0-1 next week. The official Just Sayin!!!

  9. Andy you need to check Dashuan Taylor’s # before you pass out those player of the night awards and he only played the 1st half for HPCA

  10. I have seen Kenyon Taylor’s numbers but he is from Southern Guilford…Haven’t seen any numbers on High Point Christian, where can you find them? Who did HPCA play?

  11. I know they are a FCS team but they play in a Guilford County Conference. East Forsyth may just be the best team in the area this year. They play Page in a few weeks. Really looking forward to that one!

  12. To SE I see Baldwin had an awesome game against West Charlotte, but will he be able to produce the same outcome against a very tough and stingy Dudley defense. It will be quite a feet, I believe?

  13. I was at the page game and I must say their o-line was impressive. Jones had all day to throw the ball.
