Kwe Parker is a high school basketball sensation. Many people have tagged him with the name: “Human Highlight Reel”. It is safe to say that he can jump out of the gym. He has gained much attention from his basketball videos of dunking on YouTube and ballislife.com. It was obvious that Kwe would play at the collegiate level. People just wondered where he would go. Most people thought that Kwe would ultimately choose between Rutgers University or Wake Forest University. It was interesting to see if Kwe would want to play in the ACC or Big Ten. I was curious to see if Kwe’s teammate Brandon Childress would have an effect on his decision. I say this, because Childress has already committed to play for the Demon Deacons. Would that play a role in the matter? Kwe came to a conclusion about the decision though. He said in a tweet: “After months of contemplating on my college decision, I’ve chose to continue my basketball career with Coach Jordan at Rutgers University” (via Kwe Parker’s Twitter). He verbally committed to Rutgers University Sunday and is a future Scarlet Knight!
