  1. Southeast Guilford has three players that played on the same team in high school trying to make it to the show—
Josh Tobias was named MVP in the NY Penn league in his rookie season. Dallas Newton has been switched to a reliever role and his velocity is 94 to 97. He is excited about coming out of the bullpen and his ERA is coming down. Blake butler had a great rookie season and according to Dallas Blake looked good starting at second base and went two for four at the plate in the second game of the playoffs.
These young men are great athletes on the field and great ambassadors for Jesus Christ off the field. I was honored to have been associated with these young men as they came through Southeast’s program.
I wish we could go back in time and try again to capture a state title with this group but since we can’t turn back the clock we will be satisfied to wish them the best in the future.
