It’s Soccer and Smith Soccer Is Alive. The Golden Eagles took on the Wildcats of Eastern Guilford and the Varsity Team trying to avenge an earlier loss to Eastern 3-1 the team gathered themselves and beat Andrews 3-0 and Eastern 4-0. Y’Kun Fnu with a hat trick, 3 goals, in the win. Isai Hernandez scored the fourth one. Smith Goalie Jorge Flores had 9 saves compared to Eastern’s Joey Nere with 14. The Golden Eagles improve to 5-1 entering Next weeks game against New Garden Friends. This was also the second showing of the New JV Team for Smith who improved to 2-0 after beating Eastern, 9-0. Hop Ksor and Pha Dieu both with hat tricks in the shutout win.
