Elon Men’s Soccer Receives NSCAA Team Academic Award

ELON, N.C. – For the eighth straight year, the Elon University men’s soccer team received the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Team Academic Award as released by the association.

The Phoenix posted a cumulative team GPA higher than 3.0 for the eighth consecutive season and was one of 305 men’s programs recognized. Elon was also one of 208 schools that had both its men’s and women’s teams earn the NSCAA Team Academic Award.

“This is the eighth year in a row that our team has earned the NSCAA Team Academic Award,” said Elon head coach Chris Little. “That coupled with our program being a recipient of the NCAA Public Recognition Award (honor bestowed on teams with an NCAA Division I Academic Progress Rate in the top-10 percent of all programs) demonstrates our continued commitment to academic excellence and developing student-athletes.”
