  1. No big deal, but I think the Glenn-HP Central game is at Central not Glenn, and the High Point Christian game is home, not away. Could be wrong, but worth checking.

  2. Yes did a couple of flips on the HP Central and HP Christian games and brought both of them back home..

Bison and Cougars both home on Friday…

At this stage of the game, MaxPreps is going to require a bit longer read on my part here late in the season….Have been doing a lot of dissecting, with records and such and they list hometowns and with some of their verbiage it is all there to keep us on our toes and that is a good thing…

Thanks for the heads-up and it does make a difference….Need to get all of these games on the correct playing fields…

Thanks again…Monday morning is busy time, but look out, here comes Monday afternoon….

  3. HPCA Cougar’s should expect a #1 or #2 seed in states. They are led on defense by senior’s Mylick Dargan, Tim Fischvogt and Lance Boykin and on offense senior Tyeren Melton is having a great season. Seniors Jake Sloop and Andrew Myers anchor the O and D line. Last years team was big where as this seasons team is very athletic and hungry for a state title.

  4. Them pirates only got 1 good eye (patch over that cocked eye) so don’t blink Pirate Country…might be Panthers lighting up the scoreboard at the “TARP” Friday night

  5. PIRATES!! IM GONNA TELL ON YALL!
THEM D-BOZ GONNA WELL ON YALL!

PAGE NOT TOUGH ENOUGH IN THIS ONE, ONCE THE 0:00 IN FOURTH QUARTER REFLECTS I’LL COME BACK AND SAY I TOLD YOU SO

  6. Guys… Pirate Country is not a Page fan.. it doesnt really matter b/c this website isnt going to change the outcome of a game, but there is only 1 poster on here that uses http://yahoo as their website while posting and that is Antispin

  7. It’s quite sad that there are people out there are try to pose as Page fans just to try and rile up Dudley fans. Don’t fall for it!

Page knows that Dudley is very good this year and it should be one heck of a match up.

  8. It is time to quit crying and whining about who did what. As my coach used to say, “Quit talking and start chalking”. Time to play football and Dudley wins this game by six points. Panthers defense is maybe the best in the state. As they say at Tarpley Stadium, “It’s Panther Time”. Two very good teams and the better team wins, Dudley. Offense is a stalemate, Dudley Defense will be the difference.

  9. Nah , Dudley fans not riled up that easily fellas. We’re just having a little fun before the big game
I will say that Panther Defense has improved over the season.Zero 1st downs allowed in the last two games.

On offense when our o-line is clicking , we can not be beat.Running Back Connell Young has been clutch this year.PA Announcer calls him “Beast Mode”. I call him MONEY.

  10. If you think just because they havent allowed a first down in 2 games they will do the same against PAGE you people are living in a bubble . Their defense is good but PAGE will get first downs and will score . Get real two good teams its will be a battle you dont play on paper on the field Page by 10. Jones to Overton all night. Match up problems for Dudley.

  14. This is the thing Page hasn’t faced a defense like Dudley , Their defense is suffocating, the QB play is important too and I think Page QB is going to get rattled and hit hard early and Ill take C. Young over Leake any day

  15. Ok let’s sum this up Page doesn’t get rattled they may lose but these men are built Ford tough, coached C. Young at lewis hell of a player and better person, I’m interested in the Overton/M.White matchup that’s gon be the deciding factor, game will come down to the last 3:00 of the game,Lets get it! Time to rumble!!!! Page 28 Dudley 24

  16. Gatling reminds me of the honey badger scrappy hard hitting kid .Overton better bring his lunch because Dudley secondary lay wood and that’s the difference DEFENSE wins championships OFFENSE sells tickets. What happens when your QB doesn’t has the time and you have a DB in your back pocket , how are you going to respond? DBOYZ IN THE HOUSE BAD NEWS

  17. If NW gets the win this week we will be playing East Forsyth next week for a tie at the Conference Crown.

  18. Coach T. Overton will bring lunch, snacks, and bottled water the kid isn’t a all American for nothing!!! FIELD DAY!!!Can’t lay wood to someone u can’t stop, taking nothing away from the DBoyz but over on alma pinnix we lay heads as well we’re not 8-1 by laying down we gets BUSY

  19. From what I hear Gatling will be matched up on Overton at times, can’t wait to see that. Two high level players going at it, I know they are friends off the field so it will be competitive. Overton’s size proposes a problem for Gatling but he is very physical which should help. Who do you all have in this Overton VS. Gatling matchup?

  20. Def Gatling …. I believe the physicality mixed with cover skills will win over that matchup not to mention dudleys front 7 pressuring Jones

  21. Overton .. Gatling’s a heck of a player in my opinion but hasn’t gone up against a set of receivers like the Pirates

  22. OVERTON ALL THE WAY, TELL YOU WHAT ASK GATLING HE’LL ADMIT HE’S IN FOR A LONG NIGHT, THAT OVERTON KIDS VERTICAL HAS TO BE 43′ HONESTLY I THINK MYLES WHITE MAY BE A BETTER MATCHUP FOR D.O.

  23. I look for that group of Page receivers to have a very big night and for the running back Leake to go for over 100 yards. Page by 7 points and you must factor in the strength of the Page kicker Harrison Kiser. The kicker could be the difference in the game. The Dudley kicking game has been a question mark in the past.

  24. I believe u have it the other way around … Ask Overton lol Gatling has shut down Overton at unc’s freak show and it’s on footage …. Both great kids and both will do well on the next level .. Overton may want a little get back tho lol … Edge Gatling

  25. DERRIC K ARE YOU SERIOUS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AT A CAMP ????YOU HAVE 11 GUYS ON A FIELD YOU HAVE RESPONSIBILITY AS A DB , IF YOUR WORRIED ABOUT ONE IT WILL BE 10 AGAINST 11 IN FAVOR OF PAGE. NOT EVEN REVIS CAN SHUT DOWN THE BEST. AND HE AINT NO REVIS. PAGE HAS RECEIVERS ALL OVER WHILE YOUR WORRIED ABOUT 1 YOU WILL GET BURNED BY THE OTHERS. STOP MAKING OUT LIKE DUDLEY IS SOOOOOO GOOD EVERYONE IS SCARED , NOPE NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. PAGE WILL BE READY AS I SEE RICHMOND CAME IN THEIR HOUSE BEAT THEM UP AND LEFT , SO MANY EXCUSES ON WHY THEY BEAT DUDLEY. IF ANDS AND BUTT. RICHMOND COUNTY WAS SUPPOSE TO BE DOWN THIS YEAR BEAT YOU ON YOUR TURF ON A WET FIELD LIKE YOU LIKE IT SMACKED YOU IN THE MOUTH AND LEFT THE BUILDING. PAGE HAS A BIG O LINE THAT WILL HANDLE YOUR LINE AND A RUNNING BACK THAT WILL RUN THE BALL A QB THAT WILL RUN AND THROW JUST LIKE DUDLEY. DUDLEY GOT SOME HOLES IN THE ARMOUR WATCH PAGE EXPLOIT THEM. COMPLETE TEAM EFFORT IF YOU CANT KICK IT BETTER RUN IT?????? TRUST ME ALL THIS TALK ABOUT HOW GOOD DUDLEY IS MEANS NOTHING TO THE PAGE PIRATES IT SEEMS DUDLEY HAVE MORE TO LOSE AND PAGE NOTHING TO GAIN. EXCEPT TO THE WIN THE CONFERENCE. THIS AINT LAST YEAR DIFFERENT MIND SET FELLOWS. PAGE PIRATES WITH THE W rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

  26. Lol seems like your a little upset …really hope that’s a kid and not a grown adult … Anyways both kids are studs and both programs have great players … I jus give the edge to Dudley ..

  27. I agree with both points. 2,great programs. I believe is referring to Gatling’s assignment. It will be a great matchup. Verticals and all are good but it will come down to who wants it more. Gatling is ferocious player, with the skill and nose for the ball. As is the whole Dudley Def. Dudley by 7.

  28. We have had some good friendly jousting going on over here and we would love to keep it going and let’s make sure everybody stays sane, at least until Friday night at 7:30…

This is one of the games where one player will not determine the outcome of the game…

You have two very good quarterbacks in Hendon Hooker and Will Jones…Dudley has a very good runningback in Connell Young, but you must forget Ezra Perkins is a very good runner too and Hooker can run the ball, if necessary…

Page has Overton, but they have Javon Leake too and he is a tremendous runner, but you must not forget those other Page receivers…They can beat and burn you also with Ellis II, Faison and Polite…

These team matchup talent-wise real well and both teams are well-coached….

Kiser is for an “It Factor” as the kicker for Page, but Patterson over at Dudley has come a long way too in his work this season….

Let the defenses have at and I feel for sure the Dudley DB’s are looking forward to the challenge of this Friday night and Page has a defense that has bent, but has not broken this season and that’s all that matters…

So leave it to the lines, and both teams have very O and D lines as well….

Makes for a great game and maybe one of the better ones we have had for a while going in…

Reminds me a little bit of some of the Dudley-Ragsdale playoffs battles we had a few years back…Some of the best games and best crowds ever over at Dudley…

Good luck to all and let’s keep on breaking it down in a positive way…Where do you find the edge????

  29. Fact is Overton does not run clean routes he’s just big. The the Page coaches passing game is very average. Everything is either a crossing post wheel or a tunnel screen.

  30. Don’t have a dog in this fight…but I think the Page passing game is overrated. If I remember correctly the young Grimsley DB’s shut the passing game down. Picked Jones twice. Not sure how many yards passing Page or Dudley had against them but it wasn’t alot. Who ever can run the ball in this game wins. I give the running edge to Dudley. They have several backs that can get it done.

  31. If it is a very tight game and comes down to special teams play then Page wins for certain.
Example: If both score 4 touchdowns then Page will convert more extra points than Dudley.

  32. 66 point smackdown for Page , huh ?
This is what happens when yall let one loony, captain your pirate boat. Now every body wants to drive.

    See you at the “TARP”

  33. LOL this guy who keeps posting with a link on his username is the same dude.. hes just trying to stir the pot..

  34. Some of our people may have split personalities or who knows they may be bipolar, we don’t know, but we take them all as long as the are fair and honest…But that may also explain why someone may come in here more than once and others believe me, they keep coming back and reading the info…

Big game on Friday and the weather sounds like it will be good…

  35. I really think the street corners have claimed the best athletes that would make Grimsley a bona-fide legacy…. As a fan of Whirlie football it makes me sad to see them struggle year after year. I hope those guys who played back in the day see this post and go to those neighborhoods and talk some sense into those kids… or better yet, go to the middle schools and help work them out during the offseason. Dudley just has that magic appeal on those young men to prosper. Same with Smith. Page just “recruits” players, that’s why they have very very few losing seasons. I like Pat, and I like that an alum is the Whirlie coach. All those guys from back in the day need to help him out by mentoring these young men from those neighborhoods. Shawn Brown, Willie Harris, Greg Franklin, Charles French, Shawn Tipps, Mike Isaacson, Keith and Kevin (twins), and all those other guys from ’83-’90 – help pit them Whirlies back on the map!

  36. Dudley has not allowed a first down in three straight conference games. Neither Smith, Grimsley nor Southern Alamance were permitted first downs. In those wins for Dudley, each team had low offensive yardage. Page fans are the most delusional group of people I have ever encountered. The logic they use is highly emotional; they truly think when Page loses, someone has verbally accosted them and their athletes. Losing happens when coaches forget to BYOG, Bring Your Own Guts.

  37. What has hurt Grimsley is not that the street corners have hust athletics it is that there are not a lot of athletes in the school. Plus Grimsly runs off more coaches than anyone else in the triad. 6 coaches in 15 years
