College Volleyball Final – Emory & Henry 3, Guilford 0

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Ali Singleton had a match-high 11 kills on .429 hitting and two blocks in Emory & Henry College’s 25-12, 25-13, 25-23 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) volleyball victory over visiting Guilford College Thursday.

The Wasps (13-16, 5-6 ODAC) hit over .300 as a team in two of the three sets and hit .272 for the match. Emory & Henry’s Kate Franklin hit .353 and added nine kills. Teammate Kennady Thompson hit .571with eight kills and a match-high four blocks. Sarah Scott had 21 assists and Sam McCauley added 14 helpers. McCauley also served up four of Emory & Henry’s five aces.

Kelsey Rueling’s eight kills and four blocks paced the Quakers (6-17, 2-9 ODAC), which had 19 kills and 19 attack errors in the match. Casey Davis had six digs and 15 assists in her second straight game as the Quakers’ setter in place of injured starter Maile Munro.

Coach Emily Gann’s club closes the 2015 campaign Friday (10/30) against visiting Salem College at 7:00 p.m.
