Vandalia Vikings’ Boys Basketball in 5th Annual Carolina Classic Tournament at Durham, N.C.

The Vandalia Christian School Boys Varsity Basketball Team and Cheerleaders traveled to Durham NC for the 5th Annual Carolina Classic Tournament.

The Tournament is hosted by Fellowship Baptist Academy and has 12 teams in the tournament. There are teams from Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Tennessee and 8 teams from North Carolina.

The Vandalia Vikings had a bye to the second round and played first round winner Temple Baptist Academy from Hickory NC. The game started off all in the Vikings favor. Shots were falling and their defense was forcing Temple to a great number of Turnovers.

Noah Dunn had a game high of 31 points and he also added 15 rebounds. Matt Hobbs added 18 points and Freshman Devin Resper had 13 points.

The Vikings won the game 74-71. They played Fellowship Baptist Academy today at 10:40 in the second round of the Carolina Classic Tournament.
