GBC ALUMNI TO RUN BASEBALL CAMP AT GBC
Michael Dimock, a Wake Forest Baseball Alum will host a Baseball Camp at GBC on Saturday, December 19th and Sunday, December 20th.
The Camp will specify on all aspects of the game with Professional Instructors, Zach Booker, Jarret Miller and Luis Paula.
Michael Dimock– On scholarship to play baseball at Wake Forest University. Four year varsity player, ACC All conference, 2nd in career saves. Drafted by the Houston Astros in 2012. Key piece in mid season trade to the San Diego Padres. Currently playing for the Triple A El Paso Chihuahuas within the San Diego Padres organization.
Zach Booker– Caught, played 1st base, and pitched for the Elon Phoenix, four year varsity player. Drafted by the Washington Nationals in 2007, continued his career within the Cleveland Indians and the Baltimore Orioles. Currently playing for the Norfolk Tide, Triple A for the Baltimore Orioles.
Jarret Miller– Participated in Varsity Baseball at UNC Greensboro. Drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 21st round in the 2011 draft. Most recently played within the Double A affiliate Bowie Bay-Socks.
Luis Paula– Pitched at UNC Chapel Hill, drafted in 2014 and continued his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Currently pitching within the Pirates organization as well.
The camp will be Saturday, December 19th: 2pm-4pm and Sunday, December 20th from 3pm-5pm.
Camp Cost: $75.00 pre registration: $90.00 On The Day Of Camp:
$50 for One Day Only
Camp Open to 30-35 Players: Ages 10-15.
