Football (4-6, 3-4 CAA Football)
Inside the Huddle Luncheon, Monday, Nov. 16, at 12 p.m., Best Western Plus
Elon Football Live Radio Show, Thursday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m., The Fat Frogg
Elon vs. Delaware, Saturday, Nov. 21, at 12 p.m., Rhodes Stadium

• With a 27-22 win at Maine on Saturday, Elon claimed its third road win of the year, the most for the program since 2011
• In the victory, Connor Christiansen twice hit Corey Joyner on touchdown passes and Malcolm Summers ran in his fourth TD in the last three games. On the defensive side, John Silas posted a team-best 12 tackles to climb in to fifth place on the program’s FCS career tackles chart.
• Elon will honor its senior class prior to this Saturday’s noon game against Delaware.

Men’s Basketball (1-0)
Elon at #25 Michigan, Monday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m., Crisler Center
Elon vs. Belmont Abbey, Wednesday, Nov. 18, at 7 p.m., Alumni Gym
Elon at Syracuse, Saturday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m., Carrier Dome

• An 85-74 win over Charlotte on Friday marked the first season-opening road win for the Phoenix since the 2009-10 season at Lipscomb and first time Elon has won three straight season openers in the Division I era.
• Dmitri Thompson scored a career-high 21 points and grabbed a career-high eight rebounds in the win. Tanner Samson (12), Tyler Seibring (11) and Dainan Swoope (11) all scored in double figures.
• The home opener of the 2015-16 season for the Phoenix is on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. against Belmont Abbey. Elon’s road tests at #25 Michigan and Syracuse this week are a part of the Battle 4 Atlantis Preseason Tournament Mainland Games.

Men’s Soccer (13-5-1)

• Elon had eight members of its team receive All-Colonial Athletic Association accolades last week. Senior Nathan Diehl was tabbed the league’s Defensive Player of the Year and received a spot on the All-CAA first team. Fellow seniors James Brace and Miguel Salazar made the All-CAA first team while two more seniors, Sam McBride and Eduardo Alvarez, were selected to the All-CAA third team.
• The Phoenix also had two members of its squad represented on the CAA All-Rookie team in striker Jaiden Fortune and keeper Matthew Jegier. Fellow net minder Christopher Shannon represented Elon on the league’s All-Academic team.
• The opening round of the NCAA Tournament begins on Thursday, Nov. 19. The Phoenix awaits to see if it has earned an at-large bid to the national tournament later today, Nov. 16, via the NCAA Selection Show.

Women’s Basketball (1-0)
Elon at Liberty, Monday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m., Lynchburg, Va.
Elon vs. Charlotte, Thursday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m., Alumni Gym

• Elon officially opened the 2015-16 season with a dominating 67-29 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday. The Phoenix outscored the Bears 38-6 in the first and final 10 minutes, including holding LR scoreless in the fourth.
• Shay Burnett posted the first double-double of the season for the Phoenix with 10 points and a game-high 11 rebounds, while rookie Nikki McDonald led all players with 12 points after going 5-of-11 from the field (2-of-3 from three) and tallied five boards.
• The maroon and gold plays its first road game this season at Liberty on Monday night before returning to host Charlotte in Alumni Gym on Thursday evening.
