Five from Greensboro College named to All-Conference Football Team including Bridges Brothers and McMaster from Southwest Guilford HS

The Greensboro College football team placed five members on the USA South Athletic Conference Football All-Conference Teams, the conference announced Wednesday.

Ray Bridges(Southwest Guilford High School), Herb Bridges(Southwest Guilford High School), and Micah McMaster(Southwest Guilford High School) earned first-team honors, while Chase Sams earned second-team honors. Sam Marsh was the Pride’s representative on the All-Sportsmanship team.

Ray Bridges led the Pride in all receiving categories throughout the season. He appeared in all 10 games for the Pride, recording seven touchdowns and 938 yards receiving on 65 receptions.

On defense, Herb Bridges, McMasters, and Sams helped lead a Pride defense that forced 31 turnovers. The Greensboro trio accounted for 18 of the takeaways and a combined 277 tackles.

Marsh was a staple of the Pride offensive line.
