Weatherly, a 5-11 forward, averaged 15.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 5.0 steals per game in the Quakers’ 2-1 week that included tilts with two 2015 NCAA Tournament teams. She hit for a game-high 24 points thanks to a career-high six three-pointers in Guilford’s 67-56 win at Greensboro College Nov. 18. Weatherly made her first five trifectas and had 20 points by halftime. She shot six-for-eight from beyond the arc and also contributed 10 rebounds and three steals. Three days later, Weatherly notched her third straight double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds in the Quakers’ win over Denison University in the Guilford College Classic. She nearly missed a triple-double with nine steals in the game, one shy of the school record. Weatherly contributed eight points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals in a 65-64 loss to Stevens Institute of Technology Nov. 22 in the final game of the Guilford Classic.

Through four games, Weatherly leads the Quakers in scoring (15.8 ppg.), rebounding (9.8 rpg.), three-pointers (2.0 pg.) and steals (3.8 spg.). She tops the ODAC with three double-doubles, the sixth-highest total in NCAA Division III. Weatherly also leads the league in steals, stands eighth in scoring and ranks second in rebounding.

Coach Stephanie Flamini’s Quakers (3-1) host North Carolina Wesleyan College Tuesday in a nonconference game. She needs one victory to pass Barb Bausch as Guilford’s career women’s basketball coaching wins leader.
