This evening the Ragsdale Tigers made the short trip to TW Andrews High School. Coming into the game, Ragsdale was riding a three game winning streak to start the season but the Andrews Red Raiders were out to put a stop to the Tigers’ streak.

The opening period would see both teams struggling to score and committing numerous turnovers, but the home standing Red Raiders gained a one point advantage after the opening eight minutes. The second quarter was more of the same defensive struggle on both ends, and the teams would go into halftime tied up at 21. In the third period, Ragsdale was able to turn it’s defense into offense and was able to gain an advantage they would never again relinquish. The 4th and final period was even, but the Tigers would end up pushing their winning streak to four with a solid road win by the score of 47-42.

Ragsdale was led by Junior Kyle Watkins (21 points) and Senior Shawn Stringfellow (11 points, 8 rebounds). Codee Jones led the Red Raiders with 15 points while JT Butler added 13.
