GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford came out and blitzed Trinity Christian with a 15-2 run to start the game in route to a 69-44 victory over the Crusaders in the Phenom Hoop Report Winter Showcase at Millbrook High School in Raleigh, NC. The Crusaders chipped away at the lead in the 2nd quarter where they outscored the Vikings 16-14. The Vikings were able to continue to use their defense to create quick offensive
opportunities throughout the game which included a decisive 21-8 run in the 3rd quarter.

–Tre Turner led Northwest with 28 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals. Reggie Davis posted a solid performance for the Vikings as he had his second consecutive double-double of 18 points and 16 rebounds.

–Jaylen Gore contributed 11 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds while Jalen Spicer chipped in with 7 assists and great defensive pressure that helped to set the tone for the Vikings.

–Mike Boykin and Anthony Martin paced the Crusaders with 10 points each. Joey Baker and Andre Harrison added 7 and 6 points respectively for Trinity Christian.

Saturday’s game between NW Guilford and Trinity Christian. NW was victorious 69-44 led, by Tre Turner with 28 pts, Reggie Davis with 16, and Jaylen Gore with 11.

Event was the Phenom Showcase at Millbrook (Millbrook High in Raleigh).
