  1. Doesn’t Bailey Kargo have a sister that plays basketball as well? Why isn’t she playing this year?

  2. Rockingham varsity boys beat McMichael 71-70 in OT. Guard went length of court in 5 seconds and hit layup as time expired.

  3. Campbell Kargo is a very good basketball player and she is Bailey and Reagan’s sister…Fact is she is even a better singer and she has left basketball for now to pursue and work on her music career….

Campbell Kargo sang the National Anthem at the Page-NG game tonight and she is one of the best you will ever hear and if there were any veterans in the crowd tonight, I am sure they had a tear or two in their eyes after hearing that rendition of the Star Spangled Banner…I can’t wait to hear God Bless America one night at halftime…

Allison Moore, another Page grad used to lay it on the line with her work on God Bless America downtown at the Grasshoppers’ games on the 4th of July and on Memorial Day and Campbell can make it happen…

Got to believe we will see Campbell singing on TV one day and we wish her the best of luck, cause she should go far……

  4. Saw the Emerick kid from Northern last week vs Grimsley. He ate them up down low. It was fun to watch a true post player. Sounds like he had a feast vs Page as well. Not sure anyone in the public schools will stop him.

  5. With Jack Emerick it seems like it is all about where he sets up and his positioning….He positions himself in the post in ways many teams can not stop…He is not a powerhouse, he is just a smart player and some teams may have a big body that can move him out of there, but I haven’t seen many of those big bodies this year….More and more players of all size are moving out toward and on the wings and Emerick does set up down low and he knows how to use that backboard for his bank shots….Must say 75-80% of his made baskets are coming off of that glass…..Young Mr. Emerick, a true Banker and for those who haven’t seen young Allisa Cunane, she can work that post to perfection too for the Northern girls…They do a good job of setting her up down low and if you are looking for Free Throw %, she’s got it and she gets to line a lot….16 trips to the Free Throw line at Page in the second half last night…Morgan Pointer does a very good job of getting to the line and on her free throws too, for the Northwest Guilford Vikings….The post players are not bad free throw shooters at all around here….You need to call Cunane, “Drain” or “Draino”, because she doesn’t miss many….

  6. Northwest Guilford bigs also did good at line last night. Bria Gibbs the 6ft solphmore scored 5 of her 9 points from freethrow line in addition to her 7 assists, two block shots and 9 points and dozen of rebounds.
