This Saturday night, the 2015 edition of the Heisman trophy will be awarded to the most outstanding player in college football. The finalists for the award this year are Derrick Henry, running back from Alabama, Christian McCaffery, running back from Stanford, and Deshaun Watson, quarterback from Clemson. I am here to make the argument for all three players, in alphabetical order, then give you my choice for the 2015 Heisman Trophy winner.

Derrick Henry (RB Alabama)
Henry has been sensational this season for the Tide, since the very first game against Wisconsin, where he had 147 yards, and three touchdowns. Henry has scored a touchdown in every single game this year for the tide, and has had 7 multi-touchdown games. Henry’s best argument for the Heisman, is his stats. Numbers never lie, and if we are going off of numbers, then Marcus Mariota will be presenting the 2015 Heisman Trophy to Derrick Henry on Saturday night.

Christian McCaffery (RB Stanford)
McCaffery is the anti-Derrick Henry if there ever was one. Henry is thunder, and McCaffery is lightning. McCaffery has better numbers than Henry, only because he does more for the Cardinals. McCaffery can line up behind the QB and take it out of the backfield, they can also line him up as a wide-out, and he can catch passes, and even as we saw in the Pac-12 championship game, this kid can THROW touchdown passes. He broke Barry Sanders single season record for all-purpose yards, with 3,250 yards in a single season. McCaffery’s best argument is his versatility. McCaffery may be the most skilled player in college football, because he can do almost anything on the football field.

Deshaun Watson (QB Clemson)
Ahhh the ol’ best player on the best team argument. But for Watson, it’s a little bit more than that. Watson has been the best QB in the country his whole season. Watson has accounted for 41 total touchdowns this season for the Tigers, really showing his worth. Watson has 4 100 yard rushing games this season. Watson’s best argument is he is the most valuable player to his team. If you take Watson away from the Tigers, the Tigers would not be undefeated, and would probably not be in the playoff.

My Pick- If I had a Heisman vote, I would go with Christian McCaffery. McCaffery has been unreal this season, with his yard count, and his value to the Cardinals can not be understated.
