GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford and North Surry played a very high paced game in a packed gym in Mount Airy last night. After a 25-20 first quarter, the Vikings took control in the 2nd quarter and extended their lead to 14 points by the half. The Greyhounds matched the Viking’s effort in the 2nd half and used a huge 4th quarter were they outscored Northwest 27-12. North Surry got a late basket with 11 seconds to go to complete their comeback and pull out a win by a 71-70 final score.

— Northwest was led by Jalen Spicer who contributed 19 points. Jaylen Gore and Thomas Hennigan both finished with 15 points for the Vikings.
–Mason Hawks led the scoring for the Greyhounds with 20 points. Carter Phillips and Luke Cartwright added 19 points each for North Surry.

  1. I did not see Tre Turner name in the scores. Was Tre not available for this game? That would partially explain this surprising lost.
