Page Pirates’ receiver James Ellis II is headed to Gardner-Webb

Important commitment today from James Ellis II, receiver from Page High School, and James will be attending and playing football for the Bulldogs of Gardner-Webb, located in Boiling Springs, North Carolina…

An outstanding young receiver who can play tight end and also go wide in the formations when the spread is in order, James had a great year for Page, runners-up to Mallard Creek in this year’s NCHSAA 4-AA Championship Game….

Good luck to James as heads down the road to Gardner-Webb in the Fall of 2016 and prepares to suit up with the Bulldogs and further his education in Boiling Springs…..

*****A big day for #80 from Page High School….*****

+++++359 receiving yards…James Ellis II(Page) with 28 catches/receptions for 359 yards, with 3 TDs..+++++
Prior to last Saturday’s game vs. Mallard….

  1. I had an opportunity to see this young man play in 3 games this year and think Gardne-Webb is a good fit. If my memory serves me correctly. There was a young man by the name of James Perry who played QB at Dudley from 2011-2012 who went to Gardner-Webb and became an All Conference and record setting receiver for the bulldogs. Good luck!
