Page girls 56, Southwest Guilford 51…Page led 15-6 end of 1st Quarter, Page up 28-20 at halftime, 36-32 Page end of 3 periods and Page gets key free throws down the stretch to nail down the win….Excellent by the veterans Bailey Kargo and Emily Casper and the young ladies stepped up with big games from the Heard sisters, Emma and Jillian and then very big free throws by Amari Jackson at a stage of the game where things were tied up at 50-50 and those free throws pushed Page ahead…Page also got key minutes from Ava Casper coming off of the Pirate bench and Page had three players out due to illness and the really stepped up and played big tonight….We have a box score coming in on this game….Good effort by Lashonda Monk and Lauren Carter, along with Tea Medley, Jasmine Wilson and Faith Price and we were expecting them to be ready tonight and they were, but the Cowgirls got behind early and Page found a way to persevere down the stretch run……..Was at this game, so we saw this unfold….

  1. NWG girls Bball deserve all the praise. I feel sorry for all other athletes in the triad. It’s early but clear that this website will focus on this team. They have tremendous talent and team dynamic. It’s the best AAU high school team in the state. I hope they beat Myers Park!

  2. I think this website gives the Nwest girls the praise they deserve. They praise other teams as well! And Nwest isn’t the only team that has most of their girls on the same AAU squad. Side note…Providence Day might be the team to beat this year!

  3. Providence day plays independent ball not 4a, NWG hopefully has solid chance with Myers park graduated a lot of talent.

  4. Yeah, I was just talking about the best team overall because Myers Park would’ve crushed anyone in the state last year. I do think Nwest could have a very good chance to beat Myers Park.
