GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford used a timely 4th quarter run, sparked by their defense, in order to secure a 79-73 victory over the Dudley Panthers in the semifinal round of the Haeco Invitational Tournament at the Greensboro Coliseum. Northwest jumped out to an early 13-2 lead, but Dudley trimmed that margin down to a single point by the end of the 1st quarter. The Vikings extended their lead to 5 by the half and then both teams traded blows for most of the 2nd half in a very entertaining, hard fought game.
–Thomas Hennigan led Northwest with 26 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 steals while Tre Turner contributed 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists. Reggie Davis recorded a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds while Jaylen Gore finished with 9 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Jalen Spicer also chipped in with 8 points, 9 assists, and 7 steals for the Vikings while David Funderburg added 6 points and 7 rebounds.
–Brandon Lambert led Dudley with 21 points and 12 rebounds while Josh Hopkins and Miles White added 14 and 12 points respectively for the Panthers.
