Brelin Faison Walden(Grimsley High School) flew out this morning for San Antonio, Texas, site of the 2016 Army All-American Bowl Football Combine and it all gets rolling on Thursday and the combine will run through Saturday, the day of the Army All-American Bowl football game….

Faison Walden(6’1/190), a junior free safety and outside linebacker, was one of the top defenders for the Grimsley Whirlies this past season and he is also considered a Top 10 DB/OLB prospect from the state of North Carolina heading into his senior season of 2016, at Grimsley….

Good luck to Brelin Faison Walden on his journey to Texas and it will interesting to get a report back on how Brelin Faison Walden, Hendon Hooker and Madison Cone all do in San Anton, during the Army All-American Bowl Combine….

  1. Who’s going to be coaching Faison-Walden next year at Grimsley? That is, if he doesn’t transfer to another GCS program.

  2. Supposed to be a lot of very good coaches lining up for that Grimsley job and they all will be starting out with a brand new operation since no former staff members were retained….Will see a coach with head coaching experience taking this job….Should make for a fresh new look with a completely new football staff….

Ran into former Grimsley linebacker Andre Oliver tonight/Wednesday and we were talking about the Whirlie football days over the 10 years…
