T. Wingate Andrews High School is pleased to announce that the National Football League has added T. Wingate Andrews High School to the Super Bowl High School Honor Roll community.

As the NFL celebrates the 50th Super Bowl, they are celebrating players and coaches of the past 49 Super Bowls and their high schools and communities that have positively impacted their great game. Nearly 3,000 players and coaches and more than 2,000 high schools have been recognized this season.

As a member of this special group, the NFL has given T. Wingate Andrews High School a commemorative Golden Football in honor of Adrian Wilson, a Super Bowl XLIII participant for the Arizona Cardinals and 1998 graduate of T. W. Andrews High School.

In addition to the Golden Football, the NFL has provided our school with a NFL Character Education Curriculum; the school is eligible for a NFL grant from the NFL Foundation to help support the Red Raider football program.

The Golden Football will be presented on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 during halftime of the Andrews vs. Trinity Varsity Boys Basketball game in George Foree Gymnasium. The ceremony will begin at 7:30 pm. The Red Raider Family is extremely proud of Adrian and his accomplishments both on and off the football field.
