  1. So proud of the Dudley Lady Panthers! That was a classic championship game. Page Lady Pirates put up a big fight but the Lady Panthers prevailed. A very special shoutout to our daughter #12 Junior Point Guard Teara Johnson with the game on the line hitting two big free throws to seal the deal! She and her teammates are true champions!!!! Panther Pride!

  2. T. got the two throws for Free late in the game and she did a very good job of getting to the FT line late in that contest…

She was able to help lead her team to the Title and little lady has a very good basketball future ahead of her..

The kid can play and as small as she is she can probably play all day long….

She made things happen for Dudley and Coach Frank McNeil is fortunate to have her on board and Dudley got their usual solid games from Morris and Kiara Harrison and the Panthers also got a nice boost from Jewell Miller and Rayon Richards….Miller with her scoring and Richards on the boards…

Great effort by the Page Pirates, but Dudley was there at the end and you hate to see it end that way for seniors Bailey Kargo and Emily Casper, but they will be back in the hunt next week in the playoffs…A bunch of good kids out there on that court at SEG tonight/last night…

  3. Coaches call plays and players make plays…Sounds like it was a hard-fought well played game and somebody got a big play or a good break at the end…Coach Freddy Johnson did his job and it will be rare and very unlikely for anyone to out-coach him…

Congratulations to coach Brandon Clifford and his High Point Christian Academy Cougars and good luck to them in their Championship Game tonight vs. Providence Day…

Lots of kids who came through the Greensboro basketball ranks over the years on the HPCA team with Seegars, Graves, Melton, Taylor, Coach Clifford and more and we wish the best in their efforts to bring home that State Title to High Point and Guilford County…

  4. Wanted to recognize Rockingham county girls who were named all tournament team. Courtney Hunt and Madeline Hardy. We are still 1st seed for playoffs. Congratulations to both teams!

  5. The championship game tonight is available on the ravencroft tv channel or time warner cable at 8pm tonight.
