Former Grimsley Whirlie and Clemson Tiger defensive lineman D.J. Reader is hoping for good results when the NFL Draft hits on the last weekend in April….

Reader has been flying around all over the place lately and I spoke with one of his good friends from Grimsley Charlie Jones last night and Charlie told me David Reader Jr. is really hoping to go somewhere in the top five rounds of the 2016 NFL Draft…

D.J. has been training down in Florida(Orlando) since he graduated from Clemson back in December and that too after his NCAA Title Game commitments which included among other things being one of the team captains for the final college game of his career….

Reader has not really been on the road, but more so in the air recently, with teams flying him in for workouts and meetings for evaluation….

Names we have been hearing include the Tennessee Titans in a good way and others are looming on the fringe…Tennessee made the deal with LA and opened up some Titan draft picks and let’s hope they might be inclined to use one of those on Greensboro’s D.J Reader…

D.J. has been to New York, Tennessee, really all over the place lately and I expect this travel routine will continue until right before the Draft Weekend begins on Thursday April 28….

Good Luck to D.J. Reader in the upcoming NFL Draft….
