The Kernersville Bulldogs of the CVCL grabbed an early lead and defeated the Greensboro Reds 11-3 .
Tyler Boone suffered the loss on the mound for the Reds while Keegan Mahaffey with two hits and Jesus Santiago with a home run paced the Reds offense.
Kernersville pounded out 14 hits highlighted by Zach Michalski with a 3/4 night and 2 rbi’s and Jason Smith with two doubles and two rbi’s and a solo homer from Dawnoven Smith. Justin Freeman and Adam Kirkman had outstanding mound efforts for Kernersville.
Kernersville returns to CVCL action Friday night in Mooresville.
