Powerade State Games of North Carolina softball action at the Middle Creek HS Complex and at N.C. State University, in Raleigh….

*****This was the Bronze Medal game, where Region 5 has taken home a medal in each of the Powerade State Games in High School Softball since play started. Congratulations to a number of local athletes Kamryn Graves(Page High School), would be MVP if we had one, was amazing in the field, running the bases (4 stolen), and hitting .500 including 2 homeruns. Raegan Thompson (High Point Christian) was a true utility player all over the field, and also hit a home run. Morgan Lawson (Eastern Alamance) had the highest batting average of .571. Carson Shanner (Northwood), Hannah Stiltner (Eastern Alamance), Kenzie Vance (Walter Williams), Meredith Smith (Reidsville), just to name a few, I could list the entire roster, were instrumental in taking home the Bronze. It was truly a privilege to coach such great athletes and team players. Assistant Coaches Chris Smith (Reidsville), John Scaramuzzo (Northern) and Jon Russell(Southern Alamance) were exceptional in making it a region effort.*****
